Our Women Hub
A Women Hub under Delightsome Aids and Care Initiatives is a specialized department dedicated to the holistic development, protection, empowerment, and welfare of women and girls, especially those who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, or in crisis. It serves as our NGO’s focal point for designing and implementing programs that improve the social, economic, educational, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of women.

Mission of Women Hub Initiative
The Women Hub Initiative is having the following objectives:
– Empower women through vocational and entrepreneurial skills.
– Support widows, single mothers, vulnerable women, girls and survivors of abuse.
– Promote maternal and reproductive health education.
– Provide literacy, leadership, and financial education.
– Organize mentorship, counseling, and psychosocial support.
– Advocate for the rights, dignity, and protection of women and girls.
– Mobilize women for community development and humanitarian outreach.
– Provide emergency relief and livelihood support to women and girl child affected by poverty or disasters.
– Encourage spiritual growth, moral values, and family strengthening where appropriate to the organization’s faith-based mission.
CORE FOCUS AREAS
As a “Women Hubs” in faith-based NGO we cover:
– Health & Wellbeing – Maternal health, HIV/AIDS support, health screenings, counseling. Similar to DCI Ministries’ past work donating to vulnerable women and children living with HIV
– Economic Empowerment – Skills training, small business support, micro-loans/grants for widows and vulnerable women
– Education & Discipleship – Literacy, vocational training, Bible study, leadership development. Think “discipleship and practical care” like other women’s ministry programs
– Advocacy & Protection – Support for widows, single mothers, GBV survivors. Becoming “ambassadors for change” in communities
– Community Outreach – Food aid, school materials for children, psychosocial support
WHY "HUB"?
The word “Hub” means it’s designed as a central point where women and girls can:
– Connect – Network, fellowship, mentorship
– Be Equipped – Training, spiritual formation, leadership
– Be Supported – Healthcare, financial aid, counseling
– Be Sent – To serve and impact families and communities
As a department of Delightsome Aids and Care Initiatives, the Women Hub Initiative works alongside other humanitarian departments while focusing specifically on the unique needs and development of women and girls.
